Code of Ethics

The IMIS Code of Ethics sets out our guidelines and policy governing the ethical and professional practice of information systems management. It is constantly updated to reflect new developments in the application and management of technologies.

Ethics in IT

IMIS also sponsors the important ETHICOMP longitudinal study of the attitudes of Information Systems (IS) professionals to a variety of ethical issues related to their work.

You can now take part in the ETHICOMP 2006 Survey.

Analysis of the responses to the third bi-annual survey is encapsulated in the report Is IT Ethical?, now available in pdf format.
The publication may be used as a resource for the IMIS Diploma syllabus.
