Schmidt Shilukobo Chintu
BSc(Hons) PhD FIMIS
Schmidt Shilukobo Chintu has been in the IT teaching industry for more than a decade and became an IMIS member in 1997.
He has risen through the IMIS professional exams to a BSc(Hons) at Greenwich, in which he gained a first on most modules before progressing to PhD level at the same university.
He is head tutor and CEO at Cyber Academy in Lusaka, Zambia, the college he founded in 2000.
He is also on the University of Greenwich, School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences teaching staff list in the United Kingdom.
Chintu is a PhD research Fellow, researching on the Optimisation of end-to-end Vehicular Networks algorithms.
He will be working with different institutions, including government, in raising the awareness of IMIS in different countries and as part of the team responsible for rolling out a new UK BSc (Honours) degree that links the IMIS Higher Diploma to a UK university final degree year to be delivered at local centres.
